"Papa John’s used to be a top-notch pizza chain, but the quality has taken a nosedive across the franchise. Last year, it went downhill so much that I had to stop ordering altogether.
My last $25 stuffed-crust pepperoni was bland and overcooked. (cooked too fast bc the oven is set too high.) The Oneonta location was in dire straits. They’re often understaffed, and last winter, they didn’t even have heat for employees. Imagine cooking pizzas alone during dinner rush, in a building colder than the outside, and finding some way to stay warm. 🥶
I’ve given Papa John’s many chances and wasted a lot of money, especially when you’re only eating one piece of pizza and having to throw away the rest at these prices. Employees shouldn’t be working in those conditions.
Unless the food quality and standards improve, I’ll stick with Domino’s for my pizza needs. Sadly, I won’t be spending another dollar at Papa John’s. 😔"
