"Things that are amazing about it were the giant noodles, longer than most places, and the variety of items inside as well. Things that are not so great are the very watery sauce that doesn't stick to the items inside and makes them very slippery and that the flavor was definitely NOT mala, unfortunately. Mala is my favorite thing in the entire world so the disappointment was very real there. The plastic wrap on top was extremely difficult to remove and didn't have scissors handy so ended up having to take plastic out of my dish the entire time. It's also not too great for the environment to have this kind of container. Also, I was craving cheese, but for an extra $6 that seemed a bit too much- since it's about $30 and it was $8-10 for delivery, that would have made it nearly $50 for my meal which is not a fair price. Better off putting your own cheese and mala flavoring which I had to do. I would like to order it again but maybe the rose cream to make it a little less pricey. I was thinking am I just being too picky about it being watery? Turns out I wasn't as all the reviews indicate that the broth is too watery. I think it's important for restaurants to listen to their reviews. I like to be supportive but I'm just giving an honest review in hopes that these things can be improved. Thank you. "

"I was craving some korean food and decided to splurge on some of these pricier items to see if they are worth it. First, I thought everything was packaged very well. Second, there was plenty of rice and banchan (side dishes), which were fresh and delicious. the kimchi was great! the (OL) Fried Dumpling(10pcs) (군만두) was just what I wanted. Crispy and stuffed full of beef and noodles. The (OL)Shrimp Kkanpunggi (새우 깐풍기) had a little too nuch sauce and it was very sweet. Maybe next time I would order it with sauce on the side. The (OL) LA Galbi (LA 갈비) had a good marinade but the meat was way too fatty and the portion was too small for the price. I wouldnt order that again. Finally, the (OL) Dubu Kimchi Samgyeop Boeum (두부 김치 삼겹살볶음) was what I was really craving. It was good and satisfying but I think I would like the kimchi and the pork to be softer, more well cooked. I might actually try taking my leftovers and cooking them a bit more when I heat them up tomorrow."

The one sauce was WAY too spicy for me. This dish wasn't for me. Jollof rice: Stole the show for me. Perfectly fresh and well seasoned. Not at all spicy or dry. Best meal out of the order. Bissap juice: AMAZING!! An hibiscus tea with the right amount of sweetness. My only complaint was that this whole thing cost $80. But, I think it's somewhat worth it because of the quality and the portion sizes. It was quite filling, especially for 1 person. I first ordered a steam Snapper meal with provisions instead of rice and beans, to see how they were going to customize my meal. Next, I ordered a breakfast meal in the late afternoon. The dish was Ackee and Saltfiah with provisions. Lastly I ordered a chicken soup to see how they were going to make it.
