So if you are an early riser and wake up craving biscuits and gravy, plus really good bacon and coffee, this is the place to go. Just make sure you choose the South Commercial location of Daynight Donuts, because the b&g at the other location, as I mentioned in a previous review, are not so good. "The only thing saving the rolls was the cream cheese and the spicy mayo which isn't like other spicy mayos, its way less spicy. It would be good if you like food with barely any flavor it was especially the carne dishes that felt like they didn't have any seasoning on them. I'd prefer my meat seasoned, at least with salt and pepper which it didn't even taste like it had any of that. The mango habanero was more mango than habanero and honestly tasted like orange chicken from Safeway. "Super great choice for dinner! The MUSHROOM RAVIOLI was cooked perfectly. There was still a bit of chew to the pasta and an exce balance of fill to pasta. While I could have stuffed a whole ravioli disc into one bite, I felt they were big enough to cut each one into two bites each. I am not connoisseur enough to tell you what mushrooms, herbs or other ingredients were in the filling but it was good and thepieces of mushroom added chew without being rubbery. The sauce sadly was broken but the flavor was excellent. Just the right amount of blue cheese and crumbles to give it some nice pungent tangy notes to break up some of the richness. The hazelnuts are chopped into small pieces and added a nice crunchy texture to offset the creamy soft bites of ravioli and sauce. Truly a delicious plate of food. Though the portion in the pan looks small but in fact it is quite generous. Though I put all of it on my plate for thephoto , I only ate about half and gave enough for lunch tomorrow. The CB Cake is a lot of sweet decadence. I can't provide a specific flavor because I was unable to identify any. I've had champagne but never had champagne cake. The color is what I consider "champagne" but the taste was not. The cake itself is very light and moist. But not sweet or flavorful. The crème brûlée layer between cake layers is a cool, thick custard (kind of like flan) but again didn't really have any stand out flavor, not even vanilla. The cream cheese frosty was sweet, creamy and tasted likrclassic cream cheese frosting. The "burnt sugar glaze is plentiful and very very sweet! Three bites of cake and filling was plenty to taste and I have it in the fridge for later tonight, tomorrow and probably tomorrow night. Unless I want a massive sugar high. Not saying this CB Cake's a bad choice by any means just a very sweet one! Overall, a fantastic dinner and I highly recommend giving the MUSHROOM RAVIOLI a try!"
