"McAlister's never disappoints ! 2nd time ordering the grilled chicken bacon salad and it's as good as the 1st time, ( not to mention large ). I decided on the crab soup which is reminiscent of seafood chowder but with the sweetness of crab. The Colossal Carrot Cake is rich and super, ( dare I say ) moist. I'm so glad I got 2 pieces."
"my 1st time trying this place. I'm very impressed with quality and service. McAlister's Club Wrap was very delicious and refreshing. The broccoli cheese soup as my side was absolutely perfect. Colossal Carrot Cake was an excellent for dessert. The things that I was most impressed by was that they put plasticwrap all around the soup so it doesn't leak out. Everything tasted very fresh. I will definitely be ordering from here again."

"First time ordering from here, giant cheese curds. I honestly chose this Cheese Curd Cheese Burger because I wanted both a burger and curds but couldn't eat it all so it was perfect! I think next time I'll add double cheese on the burger especially because I ate them separate from the curds. Sauce was surprisingly good! Glad I ordered it on the side to dip my fries in."
"The Steak House Smash fried onions were really good, the hamburger didn't seem smashed more like a patty and not thin with crispy edges. The fries say battered but tasted like regular fries. The House Made Boulder Cheese Curds were the best item we tasted and would definitely order them again. We did half white half regular cheddar and the dipping sauce complimented them perfectly. The Tap House Potatoes had a few that weren't cooked and was a tad over salted also for the price the amount received was not worth it."

"I've been coming here for years since an otherwise bad date introduced me. The pupusas are delicious, large, & filling yet I always forget, get excited, & order way more than I can eat. I don't know what sorcery they do to make that coleslaw downright addictive. I tried the fried plantains with cream and beans for the first time and it has absolutely no right to taste that good being so simple. Whatever is in that cream elevates the plantains to something extraordinary. Even their beans are incredible. After a week of not eating due to oral surgery, this meal was so comforting and joyful. Highly recommend."
"Fried Yucca is delicious tasted like potato and I love the anchovies on top too. The curtido is good, vinegary. Wish the extra avocado would have been more filled. Salsa tastes like tomato sauce and not spicy at all but I liked it because tomatoes are my fav food."

"Everyone was saying how the birria is the greatest in the city, so my expectations were high. The (3)Quesabirria plate's consummé was mostly fat, barely any broth which made it bland. "This time I tried the Hot Beef...and I can see why it is number one! I felt their portions were generously large and the food satisfies that comfort food craving. I also have ordered the Pistachio Cold Brew coffee twice, if you like nutty flavors- I definitely recommend trying!"
"First time eating from here. I was a little worried about if the food would be hot still when it arrived because we are much further out from them but both meals were perfect! My son has sensory issues and I was worried about him trying something new. I got the Chicken & Rice for him thinking it looked similar to our chicken & rice casserole I make at home and he loved it! It was a huge portion too! It's always a relief when I can find him something on the menu other than deep fried chicken nuggets, so thank you!!! "Looks/Smells/Tastes AMAZING!!! They followed my special instructions and everything was prepared to perfection! My only gripe, the Maracuya is way too small for the price really. Three sips lol otherwise 10/10 I found my new favorite spot"

"This is one of my favorite places to get food. The food is always consistently delicious and exactly what I wanted. The portions are big for the cost which is great I can get 2 meals out of one order it's great."
"I really wanted to like this place but the size of the dips was so small for 4 dollars. The rice and beans was barely half a scoop. The chips were soggy and the guac was like a premade green liquid. The beef in the burrito was also quite chewy. Unfortunately this place is not worth the money. It was packaged nicely though."

"Seems whenever we get the Big V Salad to go or delivered, the size is much smaller versus when dining at the restaurant. It's still the best salad, hands down. Just wish it was the same at home as at the restaurant."
"I was so excited to try this place, but I'm so disappointed. I ordered the Alfredo and added veggies and shrimp. All elements of the pasta were bland, and lacking any flavor. The portion of pasta was huge, but unfortunately has gone to waste. Additionally, the slices of Limoncello Mascarpone Cake and oreo Cookies 'N Cream Cheesecake were so small for $8. I would not order again. /:"

"Best Burrito California ive had in a long time! Theres even cheese grilled on the outside. The Vaso de Elote / Corn in a Cup is a large portion & has tons of cheese. The green salsa is mild & tangy & delish. Will def order again."
"Pros:
good presentation, food, and packaged wise.
The red salsa was good!
my dasher actually followed my instructions.
Cons:
I asked for no dairy on all 3 of my gorditas. They did good on 2 of them except the 3rd one. It looks delicious, but I can't have cheese. Luckily, i'm not allergic to dairy, so I was able to get away with it by peeling back the melted cheese that was on the inside of the gordita. However, that took away some of the delicious red sauce of the pork and cactus gordita.
Also, i would happily trade the cost of the paper bag and cute sticker that says to "snap and share" for more salsa. Just stick the sauces inside the to go box, like the rest of the mexican taco trucks.
Just ok: the birria has nice texture and juicy, but they could've added consome on the side to give it more flavor. However, it's fair to mention that they did not promise that when ordering so I did know ahead of time.
Overall: 3/5."
