"My wife and I recently placed a smaller order from KFC, not wanting to break the bank too much, and so she chose the Famous Bowl while I went with the Chicken Pot Pie. Both were exceptional. I grew up eating the frozen pot pies from Banquet and much later the Marie Callender pies but the KFC is next level. I'd had it once before long ago and as I recall I was kind of underwhelmed, but not this time. The chunks of chicken were big and flavorful, the veggies well cooked and well proportioned, the gravy inside was delicious and my favorite part, the golden flaky crust was buttery and so good; absolute perfection. There has always been something magical to me about the chicken at KFC, ever since I first had it back in the 1960's. It's gotten to be pretty pricey to order out food these days so if you're going to indulge, it only makes sense to turn to a place which has brought you joy. It was wonderful!"
