"I'm from the east coast and lived for a while in Maryland and Virginia where seafood and crabs/crab legs are abundant (and cheap!). I also love a good low country boil which our friends (who were from GA) would make on occasion when they did their fish fries. So I had a hankering for shellfish and found this place on Door Dash and liked the menu. So I bit the price bullet and treated myself (for context and comparison, you can enjoy a seafood buffet in VA for $35 and eat all the crab clusters, shrimp, clams, mussels, etc. you want) and got the Deck Cadet's Catch Combo l $10 OFF in the Daddy Sauce which is a low country boil of sorts. I'll start by saying that overall it was tasty and it's a good amount of food but I can't see this feeding 3-4 people like it says, unless this supposed to be a shared appetizer vs a meal. I mean I can eat 4 crab clusters alone, so 1 crab cluster and 1 lobster tail was just a "taste" if you will (cuz no one splits a crab cluster or lobster tail)! :-) So Much of the filler is from the potatoes and shrimp. Still, all things considered, this satisfied me ! I still think this meal is way overpriced which is why I took off 1 star, given that you only get 1 cluster and 1 tail but perhaps that's what it costs in LA(?). I'll also say I thought it needed a little salt to me since I'm used to the saltiness of Old Bay seasoning with my crabs and shrimp. But it was good and did the job in terms of satisfying my hankering. And The food was nice and hot when it arrived. It's a great place to try. "
