"This is my first time trying Janis. I was impressed with the pork SISIGSILOG and HALO-HALO ! That being said, I have traveled around the Philippines and have a good baseline to compare the food. The pork SISIGSILOG was very tasty and flavorful. And to my taste, as I didn't taste any ginger in it. (ginger isn't my thing) The rice was flavorful from the sauce and meats. I requested some chopped chili. (Should have asked for more). The pork was cooked well, I personally would prefer a little more fat pieces, though. (I understand that most people probably prefer lean meats) The portion was filling. I ordered a second serving of rice, which I didn't even need for this meal. (The rice did not go to waste) HALO-HALO was very good! They filled it up with fruits and toppings. Taste exactly how it be in the Philippines! At first, I was worried that it would spill or get messy, but they had used a large boba cup style that the top is sealed. Overall, great experience and will definitely order again! I'm already craving another HALO-HALO !"

"I was hesitant to try this place for a while given that it had few reviews and appeared to be a ghost kitchen. I was shocked by how good it was. The Palata (burmese style pancake) (2pcs) is absolutely divine. It melts in your mouth with a buttery crispness. Lamination was great. One of the best appetizers I've had in a long time in Utah. The Shan Noodle Toke was aromatic and had a wonderful panoply of greens, peanuts and textural variety. The beef was tender and had a nuanced flavor profile. It sent me back to memories of some of the best street-food noodle stands in Southeast Asia. The California Roll was above-average, and the size of each roll was rather large with a very generous portion (rice to ingredient filling was larger). Better than expected. The Cucumber Salad is a lot sweeter than the cucumber salad I am accustomed to in Mainland China or Taiwan but was delicious nonetheless. The cucumbers are finely sliced and it served as an excellent counterpoint to the abundance of carbs. Utah is incredibly privileged to finally have Burmese food, and even more, Burmese food that holds its own to what I've had in cities like Los Angeles. The prices to quality ratio is unbeatable and also incredibly fair for this economy, especially compared to other DoorDash options. I highly recommend this restaurant to the DoorDashians of Utah. "

The pad Thai was presented as a bunch of ingredients all packed together in a box. To enjoy them properly they needed to be mixed, impossible to do in the box because the noodles are all along the bottom, just stuck there.
