"First time trying Effie's Grill. The Burger was amazing and cooked to order. I can't remember if there was cheese on it or not (there's an option to have no cheese, but I don't think it comes with cheese). If I didn't notice cheese or the lack thereof, that means it really was a great burger. The Loaded Rice is classified as an appetizer, but as a meal, it actually works on its own. In order to try both cheese sauces, I got half-and-half with beef. The rice wasn't "Mexican rice", which actually made it better as a dish. And the cheese sauces worked amazingly well with the white rice. I also got the Yellow Cheese Dip. This is like homemade nacho dip with Velveeta. As a dip, it was good, though I plan to pour it over other rice based on the Loaded Rice meal. Since they sent me salsa as well, I presume that and the chips came with the dip. The salsa was fine. I'm going to be trying other stuff in future."

I really appreciated that they put the cold stuff (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles) in a separate container. The seasoned crinkle fries (one of three French fry choices) were perfectly done, and I don't say that lightly. They gave me an additional sauce choice, so I opted for the jalapeno ranch, and that was really good.
