"I had gotten this order as a delivery. The food overall was good. My favorite part was the Soft Shell Crab Roll. I enjoyed the portion size. I also liked the Miso soup but I do wish that the tofu bits were cut a bit smaller and had more in the portion. But the soup itself had that nice flavor to it. For the hand roll, I had gotten the shrimp. I wish there was a bit more shrimp in the roll and the flavor overall was a bit based. The side salad it was delicious. I love this kind dressing and freshness. The only problem is because my food was delivery, the chip bits that are typically there for texture got soggy a bit by the time it got to me. If I were to recommend anything, the chips to possibly be on the side in order so it can be added in by the customer once received. My least favorite part of my order was the Edamame. And that was because they are just steamed. If they had options for garlic, or chili oil I'm sure they would taste more flavorful. But that is no fault to the dish itself. Overall I would order from here again if I am in the mood for sushi."
"hi there, I'm a regular at kiku Japanese Grill and have ordered a lot of food, and almost all of them were great tasty and delicious. Except the Philadelphia Roll almost every time I get it. it tastes bad, and just recently, after months of not getting it, I decided to get it again because I remember when I was a kid begging my family to get me a roll because i genuinely loved it. the quality of the fish today seems to have decreased significantly, and as of today, bitting into my roll, I bit into something hard, like a shell or bone or something nasty. I straight up gagged and was disappointed and let down again, I loved the Philadelphia roll and still do, and I wish the restaurant would invest in fresher quality fish for the Philadelphia roll"

"I have had sushi all over the country. This location is honestly on par with some of the most renown coastal city restaraunts Ive been to. Their fish has been amazingly fresh and well prepared both times i have ordered, the tuna especially so. I have only recently moved to moorpark, and was honestly concerned about finding a good sushi place. I ordered from sushi planet on a whim because ot was notably more afordable than the next local option, and i have little to no desire to even attempt another restaurant now. The quality os fantastic. the prep gorgeous, and they give a generous amount of condiments, so there is plenty of wasabi and ginfer for all.
so happy to have found my new place. not sure if they have a sushi bar in house, bjt if they do, it will be my go to for so many occasions. Give it a try, I cannot say enough about the freshness and quality. The only con is that their miso soup is a bit basic, but it is definitely still delicious"
