"I eat here in person often and have ordered online several times, delicious and decent sized servings"
"Curry fried chicken is so good I was actually surprised this place has a low review. Pretty solid stuff, the beet root sauce they give is good soft shell crab is meh delivered so I'd ask you to give that a pass. If the nasi lemak had the crispy curry chicken I would buy that for every meal. Tasty chilli on top of the curry too.
Not sure tbh if it's super "authentic" but it does remind me of home. "

"The food is amazing as always! I tried the Coconut Base Jack fruit, Banana Blossom & Chilli Tuna Curry & Rice for the first time, and it was so very tasty! Okra is by far my most favourite sri lankan restaurant 😆"
"1. Authentic Sri Lankan Rice & Curry with Biryani was delicious and came with a whole peeled boiled egg along with Dahl which was okay and Lamb which was so tender and lean I think it was cooked in a pressure cooker but I didn't get the Egglant which was disappointing. I still give them a 5/5 and I will definitely try something different and order again soon. Generous serve and reasonably priced."

"The rice and curry combo is absolutely delicious and good value. I will definitely be ordering again"
"Unfortunately, they replaced the Vegetable Rotti with plain naan - not exactly a like-for-like in terms of nutrition. The Veggie Noodles were 96% noodle, only 2% veg, at most, and probably an equal 2% oil, minimum; again, hardly nutritious. And while the containers were mostly recyclable (barring the lid on the noodles), it arrived in a plastic bag which, in this day and age, is unacceptable, especially when easy alternatives are available."

"The Lamprais was beyond comforting as a girl that was raised with Lankan grandma! Thank you Hol & Spice!!!"
"The Chefs Special Fried Rice is just glorious! The spicy-ness and that weirdly authentic Sri Lankan-ness really comes through! Hands down best Sri Lankan fried rice spot.
I wish the curries were a tad bit more authentic too. They are a bit bland and most of the time "a hit or miss". But the fried rice really gives that hungry Sri Lankan a good belly whop!
Also as a typical Lankan with a love for "more rice" the extra rice option is just oh so fortunate."

"These guys serve up the best vegetarian fried rice. Enjoy it with a pork curry, dal and papadums. The pork curry is toasty and deep in flavour. These dishes are on the oily/salty side so we order in moderation. The chicken kottu is really enjoyable- perfect for comforting a hangover or a craving for something spicy. It's hard to find authentic takeaway Sri Lankan food at such high quality so we are pretty thankful for this joint. "

"I ordered from your CBD restaurant through DoorDash and overall had a good experience. The food arrived well packed, fresh, and presentable. We ordered Gobi 65, Andhra Pradesh Vadai, and the South Indian Thali, and I appreciated the variety.
However, there were some issues with seasoning. The vadai was quite salty, while the rasam had no salt at all and tasted quite bland. A better balance in seasoning would really improve the overall taste of the meal.
Other than that, everything else was good and enjoyable. Thank you, and I look forward to ordering again."

"Best Biryani I've tried in Melbourne. Truly authentic and amazing taste 👌🏾"
"It wasnt great- the Butter Chicken (GF) was just creamy chicken- no spices, no flavor but sweet cream? The naan was okay, the Palak Paneer (GF) (V) was okay but the paneer wasnt set? I'm if it was cheap maybe itd be okay but it was expensive & small weirdly flavored portions. "

"New favourite restaurant! Everything is super tasty and very well priced. We have ordered three times in the last few weeks. Each time something different and each time just as good. Still so many more things to try. Highly recommended!!"
"Very disappointing experience at Swagat Spices! The sambar vada was rock hard, as if it had been microwaved for too long, and was almost impossible to chew or cut. The sambar was tasteless, and the chicken in the Chicken 65 biryani was poorly cooked. Extremely poor food quality and a complete waste of money. Would not recommend!"

"Delicious and good portion very authentic taste just like having it in India love it."
"The naan was not full-sized and was given in broken pieces instead of proper whole naan. Even the pieces provided were uneven and some parts were missing. The portion looks incomplete and poorly presented. This is not acceptable for a paid meal and does not meet basic quality or serving standards."

"The Chicken 65 at Spice11 Kitchen was exceptionally flavorful, Aloo Kheema Cutlets were a great choice for vegetarians, The Mutton Dum Biryani was the highlight of the meal. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was a sweet and satisfying way to end the meal. Overall, Spice11 Kitchen seems to deliver a wonderful experience with its Indian cuisine. The combination of these dishes showcases the richness and variety of flavors that Indian food has to offer. "

"Lamb Saag is so delicious. This is the best meal ive had on DoorDash in a long time"
"As a Hungarian I would say your goulash is definitely not a Hungarian recipe, you lacked the main ingredient of parprika, was extremely oily, watery and no flavour at all. All it had was 4 pieces of meat, if you were making Guylas leves (soup) it was still lacking.
The Kransky and cheese schnitzel, portion size of the schnitzel was decent, but about 10 pieces of chips.
The nokedli dish was bland and no flavour at all and did not look appetising at all.
The mash potato was more chunks not mash what I would call parsley potatoes.
The cucumber salad was probably the only thing edible, even though it lacked in garlic.
Definitely will not be ordering from there again."
