Didn't think I was gonna like it because not everyone can make grits but the grits was creamy, the sauce was flavorful and so good! I liked that they put onions in it which made the food even better! "I didn't care for the Seafood Gumbo (Shrimp & Crab) I like to try different restaurants once a week, & give a honest review for each one, the reason why I can't reveal. This particular restaurant didn't make the cut, the Seafood Gumbo (Shrimp & Crab) was more rice than anything, and I strongly agree with the other customers about the portions, I'm going to stretch it by saying it was @ least 5 shrimps & the crabmeat was was sprinkled over liked it was the garnish. It was too dry for my liking and it's not worth $25. I usually make my own seafood gumbo, every once in awhile, & when I noticed Mama Gumbo, I thought I would put it on my roster as a must try, but this didn't even come close to how a real seafood gumbo is suppose to look, smell, or taste like. A person that actually had authentic Seafood Gumbo (Shrimp & Crab) would know this, so to most people it may taste good to them because the never tried authentic Seafood Gumbo (Shrimp & Crab) before, as for me personally I DO NOT care for Mama Gumbo! I know everybody have their own way of cooking but this is just not it, sorry Mama Gumbo I had to be honest! I would usually order twice to compare, but I refuse to waste my money, but your chicken fingers were good. "
