"Queens gem. No place quite like Paratha in their dedication to detail with their menu, desi flavor & actual spot with artful attention to vibe/mood/atmosphere. FYI- NEW very cute backyard seating area! This replaces the street seating that was in the front during the pandemic (which they somehow made cozy and transformed into a tropical-feeling right on busy Metro Ave)... The staff of Paratha are all fabulous. Food: Curry Coconut Shrimp is amazing- been a FAV since they first opened. Roti & garlic paratha to die for as is the Chana. Daal tadka is smokey and incredible, kale fritters are great- he likes the amritsari fish & saag paneer. And of course..the samosas & tamarind are a must have. Everything we've had has been a step above. *ALSO they were BYOB originally but now have drinks & a cocktail menu! Mango margarita and we had something else kickass I forgot and don't see the new drink menu up anywhere so will have to return to remember :) TLDR: this spot rocks. Swing by their backyard for drinks, amazing vibe/staff & incredible food"

"Paratha Wala hosts distinctive and high quality south Asian Indian food. I am impressed. Many restaurants enjoy a pre-made base, therefore the fare in many Eastern restaurants tastes the same. Paratha Wala hosts unique flavors; I trust their offerings are handmade with love. The wraps are stellar---and something i would not have initially thought to try---but it was worth it. I was disappointed by my Chai tea today, but I trust it was simply an off day. Thank you friends !"

"Ok so I'm writing this as a I eat this. I never leave reviews but this place is so AMAZING!!!! I used to live in Cali and had one of the best pho's out there. It's been hard to find good authentic Vietnamese food in NYC I finally found it. The smoked brisket broth is so flavorful and fresh I didn't even need hoisin sauce. This food legit made my day! "I ordered the Beef Banh Mi / Banh Mi Bo Xao and Pho99 Fresh Rolls / Goi Cuon Tom Thit (2)both items were very good. Beef Banh Mi / Banh Mi Bo Xao had so much flavor not spicy but they provided red sauce had one half without and one with both were delicious. Pho99 Fresh Rolls / Goi Cuon Tom Thit (2) everything about them was fresh the mix of cilantro and herbs gave awesome flavor also we're so crisp, went perfect with the shrimp n pork, only complaint is not enough peanut sauce was give."
