I only tried 3 dishes (Hennessy Wings; Collard Greens; Yams) for this 'test run' . The verdict? I cannot wait to return (I'm actually considering it again tonight!)!!!! Those wings were so unique and delicious! I smelled the Hennessy as soon as I opened the container; and it gave the wings an awesome flavor! The collard greens were my litmus test. Boy, I was so pleasantly surprised. So many restaurants fail with the greens. But not Savory Souls Kitchen! That 'potlikka' broth was so rich and flavorful. OMGoodness, I wish I'd ordered 2 servings! The yams were also good. They were spiced properly. I must honestly admit though, when I compare the restaurants's yams to mine, I like mine better. Still, I was not disappointed with my yams at all last night. The catering menu seems much more extensive than the restaurant offerings.
