The brisket onion soup was inedible. A room temperature cup of grease that was so salty I burned my mouth on it even though it wasn't hot. I didn't even know that could happen. No bread and a sad piece of greasy cheese about the size of a quarter floating around in it. I've lived here a long time and used door dash for years, and I've never left a bad review, but this was honestly the worst lunch I've ever had on this island. I really hope this is an isolated incident, or they won't stay in business. "

Instead of stopping to look at the egg rolls I kept eating them til they were nearly gone (3 to an order). I couldn't figure out why they tasted different. By the time I looked it was the last one wherein I noticed there was rice (rice?!) in it and the pork was not cooked thoroughly. Needless to say I was friends with the porcelain throne later that night and into the next morning. Nearly 3 weeks later, and against my better judgment, I decided to try the grilled fish with vegetables and fried rice and of course their delicious Viet Iced Coffee. The fish was a big disappointment. Though it was nearly the length of the styrofoam box, it was very thin (as if it were mashed down that way), was overly spiced and overcooked. I literally had to tear it apart with my teeth and fingers. The cooked vegetables were fine (broccoli was over cooked though) but the fried rice was just ok - too greasy and lumpy and way too much of it. So, I paid nearly $16 for veggies and an overabundance of fried rice with a skinny, long piece of overcooked, heavily spiced fish. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon except for the iced coffee. It's a shame because there's hardly any good Vietnamese eateries on this island. Please don't tell me Pho 20 or the other place off Broadway and 38th. Food may be decent but their service sorely lacks. And that's putting it nicely. As a note: I do not understand why none of these restaurants serve cafe sua da (iced Vietnamese coffee) the way it is meant to be served. They all pre-make it. That's not how it's supposed to be done. It's a rather enjoyable process where you prepare it and have control of how strong you want it to be. Here on the Island they serve it just like any other drink. It's the equivalent of Americanized watered down Mexican food. "

"Not sure what going on woth M cafe but it seems to be going downhill quickly. Note the photo does not look like the menu photo. Pretty sure what I received today was a grocry store heat and serve with overcooked limp pasta, slimy over salted sauce ( and lots of it) amd some kind of thin sliced chicken...certainly not a breast. To top it off they put it all in a clamshell styro container that was tightly wrapped in cellophane and habd to be cut off and had sauce all over the exterior so it had to be re-plated. "
