The Medium Yellow Rice, Beans, Pork Ribs and the Medium White Rice, Beans, Roasted Pork (PERNIL) were excellent. Unfortunately I didn't get my Small Yellow Rice, Beans, Oxtail I orderedit was substituted for some type of beef stew which was on the dry side and I'm not a fan of beef stew. I clearly put in the "options" to be notified if something I ordered wasn't available to have them contact me. Clearly they didn't do that. Would've been five stars had they done that and substituted my meal with something I do like or just cancelled that part of the order. The tostones Grande/ Large were definitely large and well worth the money and the 16 oz Cup Potato Salad was amazing. "FOOD was great- chicken 3 whole Wings with Fries ; wings have a very pleasant crispiness to them! Not a lot of meat on them. They are skinny, check the pictures! Bourbon sauce was great. Fries were gross. Zero seasoning. I added salt and pepper. Honestly inedible. I dipped them in the bourbon sauce to finish them. Rice and beans were great! Barbecue baked chicken was fantastic. Incredibly well cooked! You could not handle this chicken without it falling apart! The sauce is mild, it's not hot or VERY flavorful. But, this is the safe approach and i wont judge them for it. Sweet Plantains as a side are expensive. $5 for six pieces(pictured). However, they were sweet/ripe and well cooked! SERVICE was extremely slow and lacked any attention to detail- I was called by the driver to inquire on what sides i wanted. The DD app doesnt allow you to choose the entree without choosing both sides! The driver also pointed out they didn't start my order til she arrived to the restaurant and inquired on it. Driver also mentioned a 30+ minute wait is a regular experience here. For context: my order was scheduled by 8am and acknowledged by the restaurant by 3pm. My driver had not arrived til nearly 4pm. I see little excuse here. I want to give them a 3 star review. But, food is the priority here and they did that well. "

"First, the order came and the container holding the food was open and spilling out into the brown bag they have it delivered in - this was not the driver's fault - the top was clearly not folded and closed before it was put in the bag. Second, I gotta say - for $24 I expected a bigger portion - it was basically a small container that I would consider a "lunch portion", at best. Third, I ordered the fettuccine noodles with garlic and olive oil, chicken and sausage. The garlic was WAY overpowering - way, Way, WAY, too much garlic. I love garlic, but this is not edible at all. And it tastes like it is just a garlic powder, which makes it even worse. Third, I also ordered garlic bread - and again, WAY too much garlic - and not edible. Overall, I am very disappointed and I wasted $24. Ive had other stuff from there and it was fine before (not great, but fine) - but this was horrendous. I'm never ordering anything with garlic from there again (if I even order from there again)."
