For some reason, not a single local restaurant can get this very simple dish correct. The Pan Fried Pork Dumplings and House Wonton Soup both suffered from extraordinarily thick won ton skins that made both not very palatable. The Crab Puffs had a bit too much filling for our tastes as, afterall, it is about balance of flavors here. We ordeded the Tuxedo Cake and the Bananas Foster Pie but received neither. Instead we received two huge pieces of carrot cake which the hubby liked but infoundthe frosting overly sweet. For the $125 our meal cost, we were sadly disappointed. However, this is better than most offerings in the Conroe and Montgomery area especially since our fave local spot was actually in Willis suffered a closure post COVID. "

"first time eating at this restaurant, was tasty, fresh ingredients & definitely worth the try. will be ordering from here again & every flavor ordered was a winner. had a nice amount of fixings in each. the salsa had great flavor but I wouldn't consider either spicy (red had a touch more spice than green if your wondering which you want) & despite being mild, I really enjoyed the flavor of the green salsa. the tacos are slightly/size up from a street taco. (took photos next to a highlighter so you have a scale of your curious) *never had Nopales Taco (cactus) before, wasn't sure what to expect. had a nice flavor along with the spices used, soft/lightly firm texture (not mushy), would definitely get again & would recommend. I'd you're a meat eater, you don't feel like you're missing out, if you want to give this a try. *the Chicharron en salsa verde Taco was very good, very tender/soft meat & despite the tortilla getting a bit soft/messy, totally worth it. * Carne Asada Taco - when I unwrapped, was a bit nervous visually looking at it that they meat may be dry but looks were deceiving, it was cooked well/through but not dry, good flavor & for those who enjoy steak tacos, give it a try. * Birria Beef Taco - never had before, definitely enjoyable; soft, had more spice/marinade flavor (comparing to Carne Asada Taco where it's more meat flavor) but very good. * Al Pastor Taco - great balance between spice & still tasting the meat. nicely cooked without being dry & had a tad bit of that fat to still give it flavor. the only improvement I could recommend for the restaurant with to go orders, offer a bit more salsa (only received 2 of each & they fit a tablespoon of salsa, if not less, in the container) & lime."

"1st time ordering from here, been teetering regarding & finally decided to give it a go Jaeyook in a Cup - was just ok, give it a 3/5. let me say I was impressed by the cup size, was more than what I thought especially nower days. it's the size of a large coffee cup but wider.. 1/2 - 1x wider than a large cup. 1/3 - 1/2 is rice, the rest is the meal & egg. probably about 1-2 inch space of nothing before the lid. the jaeyook itself was mild & could really use more gochujang & gochugaru. you don't really taste any of that classic Korean marinade/seasoning. just nicely cooked pork & maybe smoky onions but not quite. was hoping for sticker rice. the sides that come with it, wasn't a fan. I don't know what to call it flavor wise but it's like it didn't ferment enough & wasn't enough marinade either. both dishes are like watered down Korean food. Original Kimbap - nice subtle flavor, fresh, quick fix& would get again. favorite between the two. I would say it can be wrapped a bit more tight."
