"Delicious food at a great price"

"The food itself was pretty underwhelming, especially for the price. At $33.54 before tax, I expected something noticeably better. I also found it disappointing that dine-in photos online show about five side dishes, but my takeout order only came with three. Even if it’s takeout, it still feels like the customer is getting less. What bothered me the most was the packaging of the galbitang. The hot soup and bones were put into a plastic bag and then placed inside a container that clearly wasn’t the right size. The long bones kept the lid from closing properly, so the broth leaked out and made a mess. For a dish at this price point, using an ill-fitting container and pouring boiling soup into a plastic bag just doesn’t make sense. The rib meat itself was also disappointing—it wasn’t tender galbi meat but tough pieces stuck to the bone. For $33.54 before tax, the quality and packaging should match the cost. And honestly, putting hot soup in a plastic bag raises concerns about microplastics, which is something no customer should have to worry about. I really hope the restaurant improves both the quality and the packaging, because the current experience doesn’t justify the price."

The soy garlic sauce is SO salty; I split a 10 piece Strips with my boyfriend and neither of us could finish because it was so salty that it wasn't enjoyable. The chicken also arrived soggy (which other Korean fried chicken I've had is able to be delivered and maintain crispiness), and they were super small, skinny pieces--definitely not a portion worth $20. The Seasoned French Fries barely had any seasoning on them. And the Bulgogi Tteokbokki was bland. In Bayside, I'd pick Mad for Chicken over this any day."

"Was craving a late night meal so I ordered a Taro Milk Tea and a Build Your Own Ramen. Both were delicious! For the Taro Milk Tea, I got a Medium with Lychee Jelly, Whole Milk, Less Sweet and Less Ice and it was perfect. For the Build Your Own Ramen, I got House Noodles, House Tonkotsu Broth, Grilled Chicken, Black Fungus, Enoki Mushrooms, Green Onions and Not Spicy. It really hit the spot, I just expected more noodles and toppings. They gave a nice big portion of chicken and a lot of extra broth. Overall, very happy with my meal and would recommend!"

"Spicy chicken review. I'm not from the Philippines, so I don't have any particular nostalgic feeling for Jollibee. I recently had their spicy chicken for the first time. Giving it five stars because it was definitely tasty, and had a beautiful crunch. The size was also decent—the pieces weren't tiny at all. The spice level was okay. You won't find it spicy if you enjoy authentic Thai food. The spicy chicken from Popeyes packs a little more heat than Jollibee. The spicy chicken from Bon Chon makes the Jollibee one appear super mild by comparison. Taki's chips are spicier. Most jalapeno chips are spicier too. But again, still giving it five stars because it was still delicious, even though it wasn't spicy for my south Asian tastebuds—but it was excellent quality. All that said, I don't think I will order from here again anytime soon, and the reason is solely because of the price-per-piece. Most other fried chicken places offer way better value. But I did enjoy my first taste of it."
