"So this was my first time ordering from Lam's. I work nearby and keep getting told from friends that they like this place, and it took me months before I finally decided to try it out. Reviews all say they love *No.2 General Tso's Chicken, and I have to say I agree; if you order it with Medium heat, it's just right. My only gripe is that the pieces of each chicken are HUGE and would be much more enjoyable to share with my family if they were half the size. I got the pork fried rice in that combo meal and the taste was good! I also tried the *General Tso’s Tofu on the side and I like it. It comes with plain rice, which is perfect. We ordered the Beef with Mixed Vegetable, the No.2, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, the Pan fried dumpling, the Vegetable Spring Roll (1), the Vegetable Egg Rolls, Extra Gravy, and *Hot & Sour Soup. The flavor of the Beef with Mixed Vegetable was excellent due to the brown sauce, however, the beef itself was not tender, which was disappointing and not a great value. This is because they were generous & it was loaded with the tough Beef with Mixed Vegetables in this dish. The Vegetables in the Beef with Mixed Vegetable were very fresh, tender with some crunch to them. The brown sauce was delicious. The No.21 Shrimp Egg Foo Young was a bit too salty (the gravy) but the shrimp were a great size and very fresh. The Pan fried dumpling were Chicken dumplings with a sauce that needed more *sweet/salt/sour balance. It was more on the salt & vinegar tasting side. The Egg Roll (1) (we got three) and Vegetable Spring Roll (1) (we got three) were tasty a d tender in the inside while crispy in the outside. Very Good and so was the dipping sauce. The *Hot & Sour Soup was so-so. It tasted more like a sour mushroom soup with all the mushroom on it. It needed more balance in flavors. Try it for yourself and you decide. Hope you Enjoy!"
