Flavours and level of sweetness can vary each time with order as well. Only thing I have tried so far that has been really disappointing is their "Stewed Sea Coconut with Papaya". Flavour is great but they aren't using sea coconut like it's advertised, it's just chunks of toasted normal coconut. As someone who grew up in Chinese Family and grew up eating "Sea Coconut" in desert soups, I knew right away they lied about it being sea coconut."

"OMG the deliciousness! Working on an Indigenous advocacy art piece with an immediate deadline, and I needed some nourishment to keep me going...Spring Grill House is the go to!! This time I ordered a favorite; the AAA Beef Set and because I am working my way through the menu, I also tried the Honey Glazed General Tao Chicken for the first time. The beef set was delicious and familiar (a comfort for my autism) and there was a generous portion general tao chicken to enjoy (going to be a new go to item on the menu). The flavors are on point and the portions are satisfying. The deal I used was for a free Thai Iced Tea, just to try it out. It was creamy and sweet and cold....perfect for such a hot day. My only constructive criticism for staff packing the food, would be to pack the ice drinks in a separate bag because the ice melted next the hot food and watered down the drink by the time I got it (there was very little ice left). It's an easy fix and the quality of the food kinda makes it hard to be mad about the drink. 😉 Thank you to the wonderful staff for the yummy treat....I needed this today. 🫂❤️🌞"

"I feel for the price the food was just okay. We used to order from China KiKi all the time when we lived on the mountain. It's been a few years since we've ordered from here, and I understand inflation has hit hard, but I feel even factoring that in, the portions have gotten way smaller and the price has increased significantly. We spent almost $100 and it was barely enough for 2 people, whereas spending that much in the past would feed more people for at least two meals. The Vegetable Lo Mein was tasty, but we got the large and had barely any leftovers. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp and the Lemon Chicken were the same portions but pricey. The noodles were mushy and gross. The flavour was not good. We usually love udon noodles very disappointing. The barbeque pork was not cooked in the sauce. The sauce was just poured over top. Very unusual. The pork bun was OK. Ordered the fish and chips to try it. It was absolutely disgusting. Two pieces for $17. A huge waste of money! Most of it was batter. The tiniest thinness layer of fish. Left a horrible aftertaste. The fries that came with it were just the crinkle fries that you get at the grocery store did not taste good. Overall very disappointed and saddened by the amount of money we spent and the quality of the food. Would not recommend. "
