This time we had Pork lo mein and Wontons in Chili Oil. The chilli oil they make is absolutely delicious and it pairs well with the Wontons. Some restaurants make the wonton dough very thick. Shu House doest do that, it is thin without being messy.
The lo mein was also really good. The wok hei in the dish really makes it extra special. "
"I have been ordering from Shu House for many years. They always package the food very well especially the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. As you can see from the photo the soup is packaged separately in a plastic bag to prevent spillage.
While they are probably more known for their Sichuan spicy dishes, their Taiwanese food is authentic and tastes really good.

"I love this place so much. I've been cataloging my Chinese food orders, trying every store in the area, rating them on price, portion, rice, sauce and texture. I started this because I was tired of ordering and then being disappointed, forgetting who had good dishes at fair prices. Some restaurants are twice the price nearly and not even half as good! This restaurant is overall the best quality out of over 15 stores I've tried in the area, ordering the exact same dishes. I want to continue trying other restaurants, but I find myself coming back here sometimes 1-2x per week because it's just so damn good! Staff are super friendly too, which is always pleasant."
