"The photo really doesn't do the tacos justice. They're huge! The fish was a fresh, thick boneless filet of real fish, not that icky pressed and formed kind of "filet." It was cooked just right - moist and tender! The tacos were enclosed in two soft, pliable tortillas (corn for me, but you can order soft flour tortillas if that's your thing). The toppings I ordered were crunchy cabbage, cilantro, a little pico de gallo, chipotle mayo, and mild pickled jalapeños. There are lots of other included toppings you can order, and a few special toppings for a nominal price. I had also ordered a side of black beans and a sude if refried beans. The black beans were perfectly cooked, still whole, but in their own creamy black beans sauce. The refried pintos had the perfect texture, not too thin and not too thick and they were deliciously seasoned. The entire order arrived very hot and fresh. I really feel like I got more than my money's worth! I look forward to ordering from Surf n Turf Tacos again. "

"I ordered a steak burrito web. I cut the burrito in half. One half had ONE tiny sliver of steak. The other half had three more DICE cut steak pieces. Disappointing to see a big burrito with loads of guacamole, refried beans, huge lettuce pieces and 4 crumb portion of steak. The one star is because the tortilla tasted fine. The second star is for the quickness of the order. I can see why it was quick, no steak was made just the crumbs of a steak that went elsewhere. For the price that was paid this was NOT WORTH IT. "

"I was bummed with two of the four vegan items I ordered. The wet burrito and the cheese fries were exactly like in the photos.
Unfortunately, I expected the supreme vegan nachos to look like the photo of the regular supreme nachos in the photos but they did not. There was only vegan "meat", onions, beans and cheese sauce. No guac, salsa or other listed toppings. Good thing I had salsa at home. I also asked for no jalapenos but it came with lots of jalapenos.
I ordered the vegan crispy chicken tacos bit received the vegan carne asada ones.
I gave Gordo's a "like" bc even tho 50% of my order was wrong, everything was very fresh and tasty. There aren't many Mexican cuisine places that offer vegan options so I appreciate the effort."
