I know the dasher brought the food promptly because the milkshake was still chilled and thick and the whipped cream was not melted away. The french fries were lukewarm and very salty. The portion sizes were good. The food was just poor quality.. "Arby's gets joked about a ton, but I think it's delicious! I crave it often. The roast beef is salty, savory, and deeply satisfying. I always get the largest roast beef sandwich, The Half Pound Roast Beef Sandwich. It is very simple, yes, just bun and beef, but I like that it puts the roast beef to stand alone with no competing flavors.
It is of course huge. I have to take some meat off to be able to bite into the thing. But then I love the roast beef even by itself so I'm quite happy to have "extra".
Even though half a pound of roast beef is filling enough, I do also enjoy the side options. The classic season curly fries are a perfect accompaniment.
