"I thought this was a great value for the Persian food we ordered. I liked the meat ratio in Gormeh Ghormeh Sabzi, I loved how the House Doogh was homemade and the right balance of tangy, creamy and with hints of cucumber/mint. The Ash Joe soul was new for me. It tasted good though--seemed like a watered down version of Ghormeh sabzi with some extra legumes. "
"Spectacular flavor at a reasonable price. I am grateful for the several vegetarian options. Absolute favourites from the menu: kashk o bademjan, hummus, vegetarian gheimeh bademjan, and ALL of the special rice dishes (especially baghali polo and adas polo). Everyone who works here is kind and professional. "

"The Option 1 Takeout Only was definitely worth the money. Large portion and flavorful. I normally never have complaints about this place but today, instead of Bread Basket, they sent me flour tortillas. I am very disappointed! They also forgot to send the butter for the rice and the "bread"."
"Family Package #1 was really great for 3-4 people! We got the beef koobideh and chicken barg, both super flavorful! The chicken was incredible. The salad that comes with tbs meal was also really great, but I do wish it was a more authentic Mediterranean lemony/olive oil kind of dressing, instead of the slightly sweet and creamy dressing that comes with it. Also had to order hummus separately which I thought was kind of weird for a Mediterranean family meal. "

"everything in this order was delicious. they gave me way too much rice, but the meat was absolutely phenomenal. The hummus was creamy and delicious - my wife had this eggplant entrée I forget what it's called but it's really really tasty. Darya never disappoints - and our Dasher was fast and took care to make sure that everything came in good shape. If I could give you six stars, I would."

"Always delicious! Some of the best Kabob around. The chicken is always moist, never overcooked like the majority of restaurants. The beef koobideh is also moist and so flavorful. I'm infatuated with Panini for offering wheat bulgar, and it is also so delicious. Vegetables are very fresh. Thank you, Panini!"
"Absolutely Devine. The sauce was not too thick but more than enough for sauce lovers. The portion was great for gorging now and a bit later. Salmon tasted fresh and salad was fresher. 9/10. Would order again."

"False advertising! The lunch menu shows a picture of two chicken skewers but they only send it with one. When I called they were very rude and didn't care. "My family is always a fan of the food at Saffron Grill. Today, I had an unexpected issue at work and ended up staying late, leaving me without time to prepare dinner. Thank you, Saffron Grill!"
"I had both the Avgolemono Soup and it tasted more like chicken noodle soup. With carrots, green onions parsley, etc. Not a hint of the creamy egg lemon flavor that is avgolemono.
I am Iranian and I do not recommend the fesenjan. It's tart, a little watery. Tadig was covered in sesame seeds and was not fond of that. Go to restaurant that focuses on only Persian food if you are looking to have any dish that isn't kabob."

"I was very impressed with this restaurant! Fresh and delicious!! Loved the Reza Loghmeh! Very flavorful, juicy koobideh. Light and flakey wrap. Fresh onions and herbs. And I loved the pickles and cabbage on the side! So beautifully packaged as well."
"Quality is good. Beef Koobideh is small for price. Darya wins for koobideh price portion and quality. The DRAGON KABOB was my first time and its really good. "Oh wow!! I ordered the chicken soup and a skewer of the ribeye shishkabab cubes. The rib-eye is the BEST ribeye I've had in I don't know when!! Perfectly cooked, and SO tender!! I didn't even need a knife to cut it. The seasoning and charbroiled flavor are out of this world!!! Next time I want a steak, I'm ordering the ribeye kebabs from here. Seriously, I thought it was as good as any steak house.
The chicken soup is equally delicious and filling. I love the seasonings in it and it's creamy but not thick. LOTS of chicken in it too. This is enough for leftovers for another meal---they give you four pieces of ribeye and it's very juicy. Well, for me anyway. LOL! The soup filled me up so I saved half of that and half of the ribeye cubes for tomorrow. Really perfect in every way. The price for both items are really reasonable too. I ordered this at 10 pm--it's great to know it's open so late. I highly recommend everything about this restaurant. Our Dasher driver was also super quick! He was here sooner than I expected. Great experience all around! Thanks everyone for making this a super enjoyable meal. Do yourself a favor and check this place out---you'll be glad you did! :D"

"The best Persian food in all of OC hands down. I love their koobideh and everything is made fresh to order! Love that they have high quality halal meat as well! Over here the portions are great and you have authentic flavors in every dish you order. The best!!"
"This was our first order from this restaurant and we were not disappointed. We ordered two Premium Filet Mignon Beef Barg Plates. The meat was tender, the salad was fresh and the rice was cooked perfectly. Portions were excellent! The Mast-o-Musir & Pita was also very fresh and flavorful. I wasn't particularly fond of the taste of the Hummus & Pita, but others enjoyed it, so this was more of a personal preference than a rating to the quality, which was fresh and portioned nicely.
Overall, we loved the food and we will definitely be ordering again."

"Wooow its the best Persian pizza in California ,so yummy :)"
"I would like to bring to your attention an issue with my recent order. The description indicated that the item would include three types of mortadella. However, as shown in the picture, the sandwich only contains two layers, consisting of one chicken and one beef mortadella.
The advertised picture clearly shows 5-6 layers
Given that I paid $37, receiving only two layers of protein is quite disappointing and does not align with the product description. I have ordered from your shop before and have consistently received sandwiches with five to six layers of mortadella, which makes this experience particularly unexpected.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide an appropriate resolution."

"Amazing! Best meal I've had in a while! Bread is delicious. The sauces are flavorful. Ingredients are fresh. Definitely try the Chicken Mandi! You won't regret eating from here"
"Very disappointing experience. The food was overpriced, and the meat had a strong stale smell and an unpleasant taste that made it difficult to eat. For the price they charge, I expected much better quality and freshness. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back or recommending this restaurant."

"Always great I love the eggplant spread and their salad."
"The Doner Kebab rice plates were unsatisfying. The rice was the best parts because its pilaf. The kebab was dry and were literal slabs of ground meat, not shaped like kebab. Salad had no flavor and no dressing on it.
The Turkish street fries had a bunch of ingredients that didn't taste good together. I was disappointed it was served in such a small bowl for the price.
The worst part of my pick up order was that they didn't see the order until I arrived to pick it up (20 minutes) and then took another 20 minutes to get it ready. I was very disappointed. "

"Tried this place for the first time last week and I'm already back for more. Chk Svlk Plate could easily feed two people. Chicken is flavorful and juicy. Hummus and tzatziki are delicious as well. "The Fish & Chips are awesome. I actually got 3 pieces of fish in my order and they were cooked perfectly. Lots of seasoned fries also. Will definitely order again. "
"The Battered Fish Taco was very crispy and well-portioned and the Fried Cauliflower Appetizer was some of the best cauliflower I've ever had. There was a good number of chips and plenty of salsa and guac in the Chips & Guac (6 Oz). I would prefer less tomato in my guac and fish taco since I don't like tomato. For those with allergies, please read the print carefully as the items we ordered didn't appear to allow alterations (I would've removed tomatoes from the fish taco etc if possible). All items were very well made and packaged for delivery."

"I do not recommend to order from doordash. Zankou is so skimpy on there rice , I had maybe 1/2 cup in my chicken bowl.

"Kibbeh Labanieh First trying this dish. It's so delicious, light and it goes well with rice. Good enough for 2. Definitely will order again for family gathering."
"The Chicken Kabob (Lunch) plate was flavorful. It included marinated chicken from a skewer over a bed of rice and a small salad and hummus on the main platter. It also included a side of garlic spread and a piece flat bread. I would've liked to have tzatziki sauce or some other side instead of the hummus but there is no option for that on the menu. It was a little pricey for the portion and compared to the competition but it was delicious."

"We ordered the Chicken Rice Platters and Buffalo Wings, and everything was delicious! The chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The rice was fresh, and the white and hot sauces made the platters even better. The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The portions were generous, the food arrived fresh and hot, and the quality exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for great halal food, Naz's Halal Food is definitely worth trying. We'll definitely order again!"
"I had the combo gyros. Portion sizes were very generous, they really pack a solid amount of meat in the pitas. Also, the meat was very flavorful, and the sauce hit the spot. Only downside was the veggies weren't as fresh as I would have liked. Probably wouldn't order at regular price, but the 2 for 1 special makes it a decent option."
