The gyro “pita," however, had the exact same look, size, taste, and texture of an authentic - as much as flour tortillas can be - think Austin flour tortilla (not the grocery store kind). This is not a complaint, just a confusing observation. We lived in Manhattan for a decade, where we both fell in love with this cuisine - and each other - and we're giddy about what we sampled today.
