"I'm not an easily pleased diner but I was singing the chef's skills while eating the perfection of the chicken dumplings(!!!) Beef noodles are still to be enjoyed but this is by far the best meal I've eaten in at least two years! "Fortune Five is by far my most favourite restaurant. I only tried their pork and century egg porridge and seafood porridge for the first time about 2 years ago and their chicken feet and Steamed pork ribs and omg they are sooo tasty! I would have gone a lifetime with never knowing how good those dishes are (especiall chicken feet which i would have balked at when i was younger) if it hadnt been for my lovely Philipino future daughter in law! I thought I'd try those dishes at quite a few other restaurants but NO-ONE comes even remotely close to those particular dishes in taste and value for money!! I usually try one other dish on their menu and it's ALL ALWAYS consistently good! I now order enough to freeze and defrost to eat every night of the week and rarely have something different. When I run out I order again and AGAIN IT'S ALL SOOOO GOOD!!! I can't thank you enough!"

I tried one last time tonight in the hope it was better but the prices had gone up more and there was meagre seafood in the "combination Special Combination Seafood Porridge"... Steam Char Siew Bao was yum, noodles in Pan Mian Soup were good. but the Kl Wanton Mee had a tiny amount of mince meat, nothing like the bbq meat in the photo. mostly just bland, oily noodle, half a tiny bokchoy and a sprinkle of mince, and very little flavour, barely any sauce, just oil. meatballs in the Pan Mian Soup were dry and crumbly, and they only provided enough soup to half cover the ingredients. it was not awful food but definitely didn't seem worth the hype."
