"I had the Mango Avocado Roll and the Fried Oyster(AP) appetizer. The mango in the roll was super sweet and ripe, the perfect consistency, as was the avocado. I LOVE fried oysters, especially tempura-fried, and these did not disappoint! The sauce wasn't exactly what I was expecting - I think in the past at other Japanese restaurants, the sauce with fried oysters has been more hoisin-heavy (which I like a lot)...but this sauce was also very good. The fries were sweetened for some reason and were gross, and the Chicken Katsu panko was dry and bland. Very little flavor. I ordered two sides of Curry and they gave me maybe 2 ounces each for them, which was not enough for both the chicken and the rice and not worth the cost. They also packed the salad in with the hot chicken, so when it arrived the chicken was no longer hot and the salad was warm. Honestly, nothing was very good other than the small egg drop style soup they included. I was excited to order from this place again after having a good experience the first time, but after tonight I will not be ordering again. Too expensive to be bland or mediocre."
