"lately, my kid and I have been craving a cheesey good slice of pizza from our old hometown. the closest pie in flavor and crust chew that we could find here in Keene is Cheshire Family's LARGE 14" PIZZA with extra cheese.
I ordered and swung by after work. I turned the seat warmer on to keep the cardboard box warm on the way home. We were rewarded with the most beautiful, glistening, perfectly baked pie. We dug into that beauty so fast that I didn't even have time to snap a pic.
the freshness of the dough gave a beautiful bite, all the way up to the crust, which gave a nice chewy crumb. I ate the bones with gusto! what are they, some kinda wizard? the sauce was a tangy, sweet blend of somebody's Italian nonna's roma tomato sauce. the cheese was both fluffy and chewy, at the same time. we hit that pie with some dried Oregano and Basil and a shake of real grated parmesano reggiano because we like it like that.
