The lentils were small, so perhaps red or mung, but they gave a nice texture to the sauce (tomato and onion). The basmati rice was perfectly cooked and separated. I always add a bit of ghee. This was reheated from yesterday. I added peas. The chicken is still so tender, that I could break it up with a spoon. (I like to eat Indian food with a spoon, so nothing falls off!) The FLAVOR!!
