"The food itself was pretty underwhelming, especially for the price. At $33.54 before tax, I expected something noticeably better. I also found it disappointing that dine-in photos online show about five side dishes, but my takeout order only came with three. Even if it’s takeout, it still feels like the customer is getting less. What bothered me the most was the packaging of the galbitang. The hot soup and bones were put into a plastic bag and then placed inside a container that clearly wasn’t the right size. The long bones kept the lid from closing properly, so the broth leaked out and made a mess. For a dish at this price point, using an ill-fitting container and pouring boiling soup into a plastic bag just doesn’t make sense. The rib meat itself was also disappointing—it wasn’t tender galbi meat but tough pieces stuck to the bone. For $33.54 before tax, the quality and packaging should match the cost. And honestly, putting hot soup in a plastic bag raises concerns about microplastics, which is something no customer should have to worry about. I really hope the restaurant improves both the quality and the packaging, because the current experience doesn’t justify the price."

"I ordered the KBBQ bowl w/ marinated chicken, radish kimchi, spicy cucumber, and pickled radish/carrot. Everything was superb! The chicken was well marinated but not overly flavorful. The sides were all flavorful and crunchy (note that nothing was very spicy though). It comes with rice AND a salad, both of which are also great (the rice was REALLY good). The entire meal had enough flavor to warrant not needing the sauces (these were not bad but nothing special). Will definitely be ordering from here again!!"

"Aside from the fact my dasher didn't listen to my directions multiple times, and it came 45 min late, the food, for the first time, was awful. Been going there years. Not cheap, but always good and authentic. Not anymore. The Katsu Don was beyond salty. Not the rice. The egg mixture. The Tonkotsu Ramen was OK until I ate the egg. Which I ordered 2 of. The salt was so high, I'm hoping I don't have a stroke. Disgusting. Who is salting the food? They're using 6x normal amounts. Easily. As for the Takoyaki.... 9 dollars for 4 tako balls... Are we kidding. Regular orders, anywhere else, are always 8 balls. I could see 6 balls... Maybe, but 4?! I asked for extra okonomi sauce and mayo on them, in special Directions. Not a whole side of it, just some extra sauce splashed on top. Nuthin. There were maybe 5 bonito flakes Going to Osaka for them might be cheaper, definately better. Will, after 10 years, never order again ."

My order was sealed perfectly. If I liked the pork dumplings and side dishes, kimchi, I'd have given five stars but they were not the best. I will try other dishes from this restaurant in future. "
