Tasted so homemade, and reminded me of my mom's Sudanese cooking. One of the best meals I have had in the city, paired well with the aromatic perfectly cooked rice with lots of cardamon flavor. The Fassolia is also so delicious - love the smooth texture. Loved it. Hearty and healthy, lightly salted. It can be ordered alone, but I wanted to pair it. The meal came with a lemony, pepper sauce and was so well balanced. This is the way it is traditionally eaten in Sudan too (hot diced peppers, lemon, chili sauce---like a better spicy Yemini fine pico de gallo relish). So thoughtful to include 2. Generous portion of bread too. Huge round chewy bread, baked in a wood fired oven for sure. 10/10. Just wow. Large portion of everything. Authentic. Can't wait to visit in person!"
