"I live in California and wanted to surprise one of my friends in Omaha with some custom cupcakes to celebrate her birthday and send a special message via dessert telegram. Smallcakes helped me effortlessly pull off this special surprise from across the country. I called in the day after Christmas to try and coordinate the surprise within 36-48 hours. Laura was lovely and very can-do, making it so easy to place my order and share my custom instructions for how I wanted to design each cupcake. The cheese was very powdery tasting like a bland 7-11 nacho cheese. The chefs board didn't have enough meat to make a sandwich, they forgot olives as advertised, the fresh fruit was overripe blueberries and there were 5 nuts. I'll stop there. Save your money, if they really do have a chef they must have gotten their certification online because cooking must not have been a requirement."

"I've been getting the same 3 things for twenty years. It has been a while and I decided to be bold and try The BBQ Chicken Pizza (Medium) . It is AMAZING! Even better than it looks! I can't believe I've gone so long without Zio's!"

"This was some of the worst "Italian" food I've had. The "garlic knots" were just baked pieces of pita-like squares with seasoning. Have they ever seen a garlic knot before? One of the words is even "knot" and yet these seemed like puffy ravioli pastries you'd get at a Mediterranean restaurant. The pizza tasted like cafeteria food, completely bland with an undercooked crust, not cut into slices, and the cheese slid off in transport, so it was messy to eat. Some of the cardboard box even came up with one of the slices. The calzone should really be called something else because calzones are meant to have ricotta in them. When I ordered the one with cheese and beef, I assumed ricotta was a given. The meat was also completely unseasoned, it tasted boiled. We ended up throwing all of it away after trying each item. Complete waste of over $50. You're better off with Dominos or Pizza Hut."
