The batter was crispy, greasy,and seemed to have no seasoning at all... a little salt and pepper would have helped. My poor biscuit was dry but not hard. There was no buttery flavor that I was expecting, but there was some sort of funny chemical flavoring. "As always the food from Stone Jug was amazing. My only complaints about the food are the portion sizes, especially on the cornbread and the bread pudding were tiny. Literall one square inch. I wish I was joking. My husband accused me of eating all his bread pudding, and I had to tell him that was all they gave us. Also there were only 2 tiny pickle slices with my pastrami sandwich. Not enough to even taste them. And they stopped giving sides in separate containers they now put them directly in the box with the entree. Much smaller portion of the sides with their new setup.
