"The Original Pancake House is consistent. I have been patronizing them for 8 years now. The food is reliable. Most is tasty enough, nothing blows my socks off. I appreciate that they have gluten friendly pancakes. I wish they had gluten friendly French Toast and waffles. I also wish they published an ingredient list somewhere. That would be extremely helpful for those of us with food allergies. The biggest thing going for this restaurant is portion size. Omelettes are huge and the pancakes come with many cakes. Portion size is so big that I usually split an omelette. With the pancakes orders, I always have leftovers that I freeze and toast later on. This is a good thing because my omelette order is basically $30. I know it seems expensive for an omelette, but I get potatoes instead of pancakes and I add loads of veggies to both so the price includes 5-7 additional charges. Love veggie omelettes. And again I split the omelette so my cost is really more like $15. That is a good deal. Think of the per dish prices as representing two meals, unless you're Paul Bunyan. If you have a Paul Bunyan size appetite, the cost might feel a wee bit high, but only a few bucks more than other breakfast places. And in my experience, TOPH delivers a more consistent experience."

"Last time, it was great. This time, lacking. the Blueberry Pancakes had only a few blueberries between them all. Came with no whip cream or butter or syrup. They were a little dark, too. Not great. The The Hills Potatoes were good, but should be listed that they are made with onions and peppers for those (like me) who are sensitive to those things. The Beef Sliders were "just alright". Maybe it was a different chef/crew today....not sure. Also, the Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice comes from a bottle, definitely not worth $6 and not "freshly squeezed"..."

"I used to order several times a week, and loved this place. It was one of the very few places that are open late around me. But there's way too many issues now. They forget my horchata, very often. Last time I ordered, my rice and beans was missing, and my horchata was missing. Plus, the container of guacamole I paid extra for was only half filled and browning. The cheese on the taquitos is just thrown on every single time, and doesn't even melt on the taquitos evenly whatsoever. It's actually comical sometimes how messily it's thrown together. Also, even when they remember to include my rice and beans, it's thrown on top of everything, super messy. Just like the cheese. And all the missing items. The attention to detail is just not there. I used to be a fan but I probably will not be ordering here again. And the taquitos are the only affordable item on the menu. The rest is horribly overpriced. A side of plain tortilla chips is $5? And every other meal being at least $20 for something like a basic burrito. Maybe if it was higher quality food, but this is like fast food quality. Dissapointed and not sure if I'll order again."
