It should have had properly chopped with a balanced amount of cheese and proper croutons with a larger side of dressing. For over $15 with tax for this salad I expected better. The pretzel was a good size and the cheese, mustard and caramel sauces that I ordered on the side were all great tasting. However,, they were again in tiny side containers that were only half full, and I paid extra for 2 of them. For me -The pretzel was very disappointing, as it was the texture of an airy bread inside, rather than a more dense pretzel with a good chew/ bite to it like the pretzels Im used to when ive.ordered this type of pretzel in many other places. Perhaps its a matter of preference, so if you like a crisp outside with an airy consistency in the middle, this may be to your liking. For over $20 with the sides and tax I expected more out of this pretzel. Since the pizza was on point I would consider trying other things in the future. I hope this feedback is received with the best intentions it is being sent with. I think the Caesar salad issue is easily fixable, and the pretzel may just not be for my taste. "

"The flavors and quality were good but the price compared to the portion size was absurd. The Beer Battered Fish & Chips (GF) for $26.95 shouldn't be appetizer portions. There were not even a full potato worth of chips, Literally a smaller amount of chips/fries than a value fast food portion. The battered cod fillets were tiny as well. The takeout box looked like it was less than half full, the contents off to one side leaving nothing but a tiny container of mushy peas sliding around in all the vacant space."

"I love me some Escoveitched Fish and this was one good. I do like a little more vinegary flavor in the pickle but it was tasty. And for the price, the red snapper was smaller than expected and compared to the fish I get at this other spot that charges $2 less. But still, I overall truly enjoyed this meal. What I mostly appreciate about this spot is the added Jamaican dishes I rarely see on other menus here in LA. I got the Ground Food (provisions) to go with the fish (boiled green banana, yuca, and dumplings) which I haven't had on the West Coast (I'm from NYC). It's a nice break from rice n peas or white rice options especially with dishes like salt fish and ackee which is a staple. They also have stew peas with pig tails, breadfruit, jerk pork, and the bean soup so I definitely plan to order those next time. I miss those foods/flavors for sure. "

"Let me say that I love Hungry Man's food and will continue to eat there. But my initial issue with the Escoveitched Fish (this is my 2nd time ordering it), that for the price, the fish size is small compared to other whole body fish meals I get from other spots , still stands. This meal felt more like $25 not $36. My other Jamaican spot that had a really good-sized snapper dinners for $34 (and their fish was really good) stopped serving fish altogether (maybe due to cost or supply chain issues?), but I had a hankering for escoveitch (and felt too lazy to make my own) so I decided to try HM's again. The peas and rice was good as always (and there was a lot of it), and the fish was cooked well but just ok flavor wise tho the pickle was tasty and worked when eaten together of course. But overall, in comparison, not a completely satisfying meal for me personally for the price once you factor in delivery and tip ($52). It would be nice if they could find creative ways to be a little more generous with the fish if possible. But still, I love their food. "
