"They have outdone themselves once again... trying to find value anymore is almost impossible but when you combine value with AMAZING food it's so awesome!! The Veggie Fajitas are not only FABULOUS but the portion is HUGE & came with a large side of rice, whole beans (delicious and perfectly cooked) guacamole, steamy hot corn tortillas, chips, salsa, and hot carrots!! All of that, probably at least 3-4lbs of food, along with a Jamaica was around $20.00, seriously?? "I normally absolutely love burrito city and have rated it outstanding and written positive reviews . but... whoa!! their chorizo burrito was terrible. mostly Eggs and very minimal chorizo. I requested red hot sauce and received only green. I'll continue to order there carne breakfast burritos which are FANTASTIC and their beef taco plate which is also really good. but... that chorizo burrito needs to be rethought out and redesigned before it's anywhere close to being in the decent Realm."

"The food from Colimas is generally some of the best in East San Diego, but I wasn't impressed by the Carne Asada fries. Though they gave you plenty of Asada, it wasn't very well seasoned and tasted plain. There was little guacamole and nothing to really moisten the fries. So, you just end up with a glob of dry cheese fries with no flavor. Hard pass on the Carne Asada fries from me. "

The beans and rice are perfectly cooked and seasoned. We usually each get a Crispy Potato Taco as a starter, and then we have part of a burrito. I get the Pollo Asado Burrito with some additions, and my hubs gets the Chicken Chipotle Burrito. The leftover burrito, Side of Beans, and Side of Rice become a whole second meal! Do not make the mistake of trying another taco shop...Ferny's is the correct answer! "

"Yea ima just say it they got the best California Burrito in all of California. I cannot think of anything they could improve it's just a perfect burrito. It is a few dollars more than other taco joints but you get your moneys worth it is a large burrito. Tortilla is fresh and toasted to perfection, they use actual diced potatoes that melt in your mouth with so much flavor and without being greasy at all, the steak is seasoned well and has a nice sear to it, they use high quality Mexican cheese that stays melted 30 minutes after it leaves the restaurant, they also use real Mexican sour cream with the perfect amount. To top it all off all 3 of there hot sauces are perfect and the best ive had. You are missing out big time if you havent tried this place "
