The tonkatsu ramen broth totally lacked the cravable ramen umami depth and silky mouthfeel which is only obtained when it is slowly simmered long enough to extract collagen from bones. The shoyu tare has an unpleasant metallic tang, a really common shoyu fault. If you try this place, I would recommend ordering a different flavor, since miso and salt tares tend to be more foolproof.
