"Spinach Chat was as amazing as other reviews suggested - tamrind goodness, what a special dish. Garlic Naan wasnt as soft/pillowy as I've grown to expect, but good vehicle for other flavors. Jhol (Soup) Mo:Mo [No Gluten-Free] was pretty good, I ended up liking the dough and the filling separately - clearly well crafted though, and I just eat weird. Side sauce did not have much flavor and soup base was not addicting as I like soups to be. Definitely fresh and I would make someone go in just to share the Spinach Chat with me, so they could experience it!"

"I was disappointed with this Butter Chicken (Signature Dish), it's always a hit or miss with Indian food in the DMV. Pieces of the chicken were chewy & undercooked. As well as the chickpeas (Chana Masala), they were hard and definitely could have been cooked longer. The texture of the leafy greens side was super thin and runny. The only thing I can praise was the portion of the dish, it was pretty ample for the price."

"There are so many Indian restaurants in DC and I have not found my go to place until now. This place just opened up recently and thank goodness because everything I've had from here so far is amazing. I am extremely picky about my Indian flavors and oh my God the dishes I've had from here just exudes multidimensional flavors that I expect from Indian or Nepalese cuisine. The lamb Rogan Josh was creamier than I'm used to, but had amazing flavor. The lamb madras was good, but just mild in flavor. The Lamb Curry is great. Exactly what you expect from a lamb curry with amazing flavors. I will eventually order most of the dishes here and hopefully they will be just as good. "

"Generous portions - maybe I just wasn't hungry today but just a bit over half the Maurya Kebab Combo with a Paneer Kulcha left me full. Food is decent but could also be better. Some parts of the chicken/meat are weirdly mushy - maybe it was marinated too long? The rice also is also somewhat mushy and not fluffy. Spice and seasoning is fine (although a little more wouldn't go amiss) and the kulcha seems good as well. The chana masala is sweeter than what I usually encounter - not sure if this is a regional variation or adapted to the typical American palette. "
