"As someone from Old City, Hyderabad who grew up eating real Hyderabadi biryani at places like Cafe Bahar, Pista House, and Shah Ghouse, Iāve got to say this spot comes pretty close to the authentic taste.
I ordered the Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani and asked for it āspicy, double masalaā like a true Hyderabadi, and it definitely delivered. The Zafrani Chicken 65 was decent, but nothing you canāt find elsewhere in Austin.
Only downside is the portion size. The Chicken 65 felt way too small for the price, and the raita + mirchi ka salan servings were basically Costco sample cups.
That said, Iād still order the biryani again. Just wish the portions matched the prices, because my appetite didnāt order a sample platter."

From the delivery to the food, it was surprisingly good! I shouldāve taken some pictures. Usually, when food is delivered, itās not packed with care, but that wasnāt the case with Sangam Chettinad. The attention to detail and the quality of the food were excellent.
I ordered plain biryani rice (Kuska) and a Masala dosa. To my delight, they also included some delicious potato masala, which I hadnāt expected. The sauces were great, too.
My only tip is to enjoy the food right after delivery. If it sits for over an hour, the Masala Dosa will lose its crispness (first-world problems, I know!).
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Indian food!"

The carne asada was so small that it made 2 very sparse tacos (tortilla wrapped around like a flauta). The soup was the most generous part of the whole meal. Without the chips , salsa & tortillas the meal was just incomplete. We had to heat up HEB tortillas & get Pace salsa. Everyone would have gotten chips & tortillas on site - they should have been in the delivery order also. All their protein portions are very small for the price."
