Their salsa is nothing great and basically diced tomato's, but it works in their burritos. Their pizza is okay, but we don't order it because we prefer wood fired pizza. The Empanadas and Haitian patty didn't differ drastically in taste, empanadas had more veggies inside, both heavily fried bread but delicious. The oxtail was excellent and goes really well with pouring over the rice and beans to give a little flavor. The seasoning is just perfect, has a little kick but not overly salted or too spicy. Very large portions of plantains and rice and beans. The Legumes were excellent too, never tried this dish before but ordered based on other customer reviews and it did not disappoint. Only minor complaint is order took about an hour during off peak hours (ordered at 4 pm, nobody else picking up around when I got there) but food is delicious and well worth a little wait. "As you can see, they only give you half the bowl of Ndole which is quite annoying. Food is good, but the portion are extremely small. I ordered from this restaurant various times, and even spoke with the owner/manager about it, but nothing. I love Ndole and my brothers and I grew up eating it every day. Every 2-3 weeks, I drive over 46 miles, and have to pay for TWO orders of it just so l can have enough of it for dinner, and yet... it's still not enough. My wife thinks me paying $55 for a solo dinner is nuts and she's right, but I keep on coming back for more because the Ndole is delicious."
