"I don't know what happened to this chain. They went from whole pieces (cuts) of chicken to tiny bits over breaded with more veggies than protein. It's been years since I had their food. It used to be good. I had more peanuts in here than chicken in my kung pao chicken. And peanuts cost more per pound at a restaurant cost, and im using marys chicken in my restaurant. Still they have over a cup of peanuts in here to balance out the breading of what could be maybe 4 ounces of chicken, possibly 3 ounces. The breading is the majority. They must be hurting to reduce the quality this low. Almost 50$ wasted, PF changs has gone down the trash. Pre Covid not terrible. Now.. wont be long for them to go out of business here. "

The beef was excellent as was the sauce and Asparagus Beef/ 芦笋牛肉. Kung Pao Shrimp/宮保蝦 was delicious as well as the sauce. Even old standbys, like Broccoli Chicken/芥蘭雞 were outstanding. "Folsom Palace has the best Chinese food in the area, if not all of Northern California. Their Kung Pao chicken is super flavorful, fresh, no fat, made to perfection. It's enough for two or three people, or you'll have great leftovers the next day. I always get it with their vegetable fried rice, which is delicious. The whole meal is extremely satisfying and whether you go there in person or get takeout, they are consistent, and delicious. "This is the best Chinese food place in my area. My Honey Walnuts Shrimps 核桃虾（午） were huge! They were also de-tailed and clean as a whistle which unfortunately is not the norm at other places. And as a plus it was piled high on the plate with my fried rice. The Fried Crabmeat Cheese Wontons 云吞 are always crispy and stuffed full of filling. The Orange Chicken 陈皮鸡（午） is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy orange flavor and the chowmein we had was well seasoned. I unfortunately couldn't get words on the Sweet & Sour Pork 甜酸猪（午） plate bc it was gone before I checked but when asked about it my mom said "mhmm" with a mouth full of chow mein haha. Finally the Fried Golden Buns( 8pc)黄金馒头 were so pillowy and crispy we had them with coffee, #perfection."

"Both the Shrimp (Lb.) 虾 and the Crawfish (Lb.) 小龙虾 are as tasteless one can imagine, even when we ordered Rahing Cajun spice level 3. The seafood is not fresh at all (the Shrimp (Lb.) 虾 heads were bitter) and the sauce was just bland. The Garlic Noodles 蒜面 was ok but half the size as they used to be. We've been customers of this restaurant for many years, and this was the worst meal we've had (not to mention that it took ~50min for our Dasher to wait for the food)."
