"I got the Chicken Burrito . I was a little disappointed in the limited number of toppings that can be added onto the burrito itself, but it was pretty good sized as it was. I got it with onions, cilantro, and tomato on the sandwich itself. Farther down the ordering page, there were more Extra Items. The photo showed a plate of several by themselves, as sides. "This review is only for the Fair Oaks location. I've been going to Uncle Julio's for 20+ years at nearly all of the locations in the DMV area. The food is consistently subpar relative to other locations and is easily the worst by far. The soft tacos always come soaked, the portions for sides are smaller than what the other stores offer, and the meat is often overcooked. I've ordered from this location 5+ times across the last year hoping things would change. Unfortunately, it's only gotten worse each time. "I was really disappointed with my order from this restaurant. I paid a premium price for tacos expecting a decent portion of Carne Asada, but what I got was three tiny pieces of meat in each taco. The rest was just filled with nopales (cactus), onions, and cheese. If I wanted a vegetarian or cheese taco, I would have ordered that instead. As you can see in the picture, all the veggies are pushed to one side, and the actual protein portion is minimal. For the price they charge, it feels like they’re cutting corners and cheating customers on the meat. I will not be ordering from this place again.
