"the food was wonderfully flavorful. I chose medium spicy and I'd say they got that on the ball. it wasn't too spicy and I could handle it, but it's just so subjective. they also gave some raita 'just in case'. I'm glad I chose the right spice level. the Okra Masala was full of okra and it was so delicious. I didn't feel any of the slimeyness okra can add. it was moist and yummy! the Chicken Biryani was great too. I'm glad I didn't have to dig all the way to the bottom to get any chicken. I found some just under the top of the rice. you can really taste all the levels of flavor and care that went into the dish. the Vegetable Samosa came as a pair, and although the flavor was really good, I only would wish it contained some potato pieces intact - it all seemed mushed. but as stated, it was still very tasty. I think I might have found my new favorite local Indian restaurant!"

"I was excited to try this spot as the reviews were all really good but I was disappointed. The first thing I noticed was the portion sizes, I ordered a $6 mango lassi and it was only an 8oz drink. The flavor was lacking it didnt really taste like mango but more like yogurt. The butter chicken was okay in flavor, ive had better but again the portion size was really small for a $20 plate. Not to mention they dont give you a side of rice you have to buy it and they dont even give you a complimentary naan. "Varam is a new Indian place, haven't tried in person, but just tried on Door dash for the first time. I ordered two Biryanis and loved them both! The Golconda Kofta Biryani is amazing! This biryani had minced goat koftas shaped around a hard boiled egg (think Scotch eggs, if you don't know what a kofta is). The kofta is pretty large and you get two kofte in the dish. The biryani was very flavorful and also spicy, and the minced goat was incredibly delicious and tender. Loved it, will definitely order again. The Potlam Chicken Biryani was also super delicious, it's an egg-wrapped biryani with spicy boneless chicken pieces. Also very good, the chicken was tender and juicy. "I decided to try the Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Butter Chicken to see what my family would like best. We always order the Tikka Chicken Tikka Masala, and its still our favorite. However, the other two are delicious. CTM is the sweetest, the CK is the richest and least sweet (more savory), and the BC is right in the middle but not sweet. The Beef Samosa is delicious as always, but I tasted a raisin for the first time (not fond of raisins with savory meals, but it is still delicious). The beef samosas are spicy. "Curry Up Now has regressed in quality dramatically over the past year. Ordered Bhel Puri and they prepared it with Cucumber. It was soggy by the time it got home. We also ordered Channa Masala and it came dripping in oil and had a really dark sauce which was non-descript and tasteless. The Samosa had some strange spice which was bunched up in one end of the Samosa which made it difficult to eat. Moreover the amount of chutney they provide is miniscule for two large samosas. "I've already reviewed the other dishes before, so adding a review just for Chana Pulao - Sherry Mehta this time. This was an incredibly fragrant and delicious pulao, the rice was perfectly cooked long-grain basmati, and the fried onions on top gave it the authentic pulao fragrance and taste. I really enjoyed it, and the generous amount of chana (chickpeas) made it more substantial and filling. Comes with raita (yoghurt dip) on the side, which was also just perfect. Ideally I would have appreciated a slightly larger quantity of raita, because I ran out towards the end. A version of this pulao with other vegetables (potatoes, peas, carrots, cauliflower, green beans etc) would be quite delicious, I hope they add something like that to the menu."

"I think they just opened because I passed by it yesterday and only saw the "Opening Soon" sign (or something similar). one word: WOW. Butter chicken was awesome. Chicken was moist and there was actually an abundance of sauce so i could pour it over and dip EVERYTHING. It would make paper tasty. The chicken nachos were equally amazing.
