"Hong Kong City is the largest Chinese restaurant in the Greater Attleboro- Taunton area. It is a very nice place for dining - in complete with a sushi bar and a lot of ambience. It does, however, become a bit noisy when it’s busy. The spider maki is my favorite cooked item from the sushi bar. The soft shell crab is delicious, but it is a wee bit bulky to eat with the chopsticks provided and the pieces tend to fall apart. The wasabi and ginger comes with the order. The wasabi served is very potent, but you only get enough to cover one piece which was disappointing to me. The Singapore rice noodles are a wonderful choice and the order is very large for one person to eat. They are even better when prepared with fried tofu which will be added if requested. The brown rice is a nice item to add to your meal as it is healthier for eating than the white rice. The egg rolls are okay, but would taste better if they were prepared with some pieces of roast pork or shrimp. The crab rangoons are a good size and they’re very tasty and don’t have any strange flavor to them like you can get in some establishments. I love the Tom Yum soup at Hong Kong City. It’s prepared with chicken and extra large shrimp that have the shells removed so that you don’t have to pick at them with your fingers. The broth is a nice spicy tomato flavor and is served with chunks of fresh cooked vegetables. I like Hong Kong City because they are conveniently located on lower Broadway in Taunton near where I live, and they have a large traditional and varied menu complete with Japanese sushi selections."

"Hong Kong City is the largest Chinese restaurant in the Taunton area. They prepare most of the Chinese dishes that are popular with diners who eat Chinese food. The Yang Chow fried rice is like a house fried rice without the oyster sauce, so it is served as a white rice with meat, shrimp, and egg. The egg rolls are okay but they don't include any pork or shrimp. The crab Rangoon is what I consider their best appetizer. The chicken wings are real wings, but there's only 6 in an order, and they're rather expensive. The steamed Peking ravioli tastes pretty good, especially with the ginger sauce that supposed to come with it. I like the beef chow foon and that's not available from most of the Chinese restaurants in this area. Hong Kong City also has a complete sushi bar, and sushi appetizers, maki, and mixed sushi and sashimi orders are all available here. The food quality at Hong Kong City is above average."
