"It's been a few years since I last indulged in #4 Sue's Egg Rolls, mainly because I've lived outside of MN. So when I spotted it on Door Dash, I was thrilled and even convinced my friends to double the order! I vividly recall what they looked like, the crispiness, how they were full and fluffy with cabbage, and how they would burst with flavor at first bite! However, when they arrived, I noticed a significant change in appearance right away. Still, I thought, who cares, as long as the taste was the same, it wouldn’t matter.
After taking a big bite alongside my friends, I was disappointed to find that they didn’t taste anything like I remembered. In fact, they were extremely bland, and to make matters worse, mine had an off-putting flavor. They hardly had any filling and barely any cabbage. Considering they aren’t cheap, my disappointment was even greater. I genuinely believe they should rethink their name because these certainly didn’t resemble the egg rolls I once loved. Honestly, even a dash of salt could have made a difference—anything to enhance the flavor. I'm not trying to be rude, but this egg roll honestly tasted exactly like a spoonful of ground beef without any salt or pepper. (friends agreed) Perhaos we just got a bad batch and they forgot seasoning that day and the filling, but it was bad, certaing not worth $19+."

The outside flavor was good, and the tiny bit of octopus in it was cooked fine... but that 90% mush filling/inside... I couldn't do it.
