"Plátano frito as dessert. Not what I expected or thought. Impressed and reminded how something simple is tastier than something complex. Kudos to y'all, I was reminded of my childhood. Chilaquiles with steak. Steak was very good, salsa verde was very flavorful, no where near as spicy as I'd hope but still tasty. Chilaquiles are meant to be crunchy even when after drenched in salsa by a reasonable margin, I'm not sure why, but they were more soggy than I expected even from a delivery take out. The huarache base was made by hand as described, they did unfortunately skimped out on the quantity of pastor on it, but not by a lot. Maybe it's their style here? Could use a bit of balancing, does not feel like much of an in house seasoning (pastor), but I could be wrong. I still ate all of it. No food should be wasted. Horchata and Jamaica water (at least this batch) were very well balanced not overly sweet that gives that weird aftertaste. This review is done by a Mexican who was actually born and raised there, I'm a modest food connoisseur & critic as well. (Just not profoundly professional) To all who read this, thank you -Victor A. This is my first time ordering from here & I had come to this area from the Allentown area where there is an ABUNDANCE of rich latin cultural cuisine, small mom & pops on just about every corner in the city, all this say Im extremely tuned in on Spanish food & in this instance, im sorry to say, but the pastry to meat ratio in the empanada is almost horriafying. I saw the empanadas are rated normally extremely high, thats either because A. just mine happened to be bad or B. the people doing these rankings really haven't had anything to compare it too. The taste overall was great I will point that out but the meat content was atrocious. The meat may have filled a large spoonfull after taking the entire pastry apart. We're talking 50 to 1. 50 parts pastry to 1 part meat."
