When I moved to a new city, I was so nervous I would be too far for doordash to bring my food to me. I call it my bougie treat for myself! "I placed an order specifically hoping for chorizo and was assured over the phone that I could substitute it for sausage by noting it in the comments. Unfortunately, my order arrived with sausage patties instead, which was disappointing since chorizo was the main reason I ordered. That aside, the country fried steak was delicious and packed with flavor. A little more gravy would have been perfect, but overall it was a major win. The portions were generous, and the grits added a nice touch to make it feel like a lot of food—definitely a bonus. My kiddo loved the waffle combo! The waffle was soft, fluffy, and hit all the right notes. The pancakes were massive, a true standout. Two for $8 felt like an absolute deal. I only wish there was an option to substitute toast for a pancake, not that the toast wasn’t toasted and buttered to perfection—it was! But that pancake swap and chorizo would’ve been a game-changer.
