"This was my first time ordering Puerto Rican specific food (normally it's Mexican). This has to be the best Latin food I've had in this area by far. Therefore, I know what Cuban Ropa Vieja truly tastes like, and this dish does not taste like the way Cubans cook Ropa Vieja in Miami, Florida. The beef meat tastes more like regular beef stew cooked in paprika, garlic, and peppers, onions, red wine, and some other spicy ingredient. It was flavorful, but it was not actual Cuban Ropa Vieja flavors. In addition, the black beans had a good flavor, but those do not taste like authentic Cuban black beans. We received only 1/2 of the cup filled with watery bean liquid and a little bit of black beans. This is very disappointing given that we paid $21.50 per each dinner plate and were expecting at least a full container of the cooked black beans with each of our 4 paid meals. Please do better with the serving a properly portioned Cuban Ropa Vieja dish and the black bean side portion."
