The yams were also so good, great texture slightly firm but soft, not mush or overly sweet goo like most - would def get shrimp and yams again! The Mac and cheese I did not like, something about it tasted off. The Banana pudding was also disappointing especially considering the price. The flavor wasn't bad, but the texture is so thick and sticky, almost like a taffy. I just couldn't eat it, waste of $10. I've eaten here before and the garlic sauce is usually nice and thick with flavor but this one for my order was watery and flavorless like 75% water. The 1. Smoked Beef Brisket lacked flavor it was very tender though but could only bare to eat it if it was covered in their bbq sauce, the sauce is really good glad it wasnt watered down. The rice also needs something its very bland. If you don't like your food to have flavor I recommend but i like flavor a pinch of salt won't kill the two times i have eaten here (one sit in one take out) the rice was BLAND. I like the concept but the food is very much mid. The dine in experience is better though just because they give you complimentary items which they should include a little of that for takeout with the amount you pay. "
