"Honestly, as someone who's been missing this type of food from NYC street carts for over 10 years.. the mark was kinda missed here. Hot sauce reminded me of Tabasco sauce, which doesn't fit with the tanginess of the white sauce. Chicken and lamb mix was dry, but the white (yogurt) sauce at least saved it. Was a decent amount of food but not for the price. Salad could have been WAY fresher. Pita bread wasn't even warmed. Probably won't order again."

"I did something tonight I've only done once in 3 years: I Door Dashed. I decided to try Roots Asian Restaurant for the first time and I wasn't disappointed.
I was excited to see Burmese Tea Leaf Salad on the menu and also ordered Chicken Pad Thai . In both cases, the flavor profiles were far less assertive than I'm used to but they were both SO good. I'd definitely order them again. I was disappointed the Mango Sticky Rice wasn't available but that's okay. Next time!
As a plus, they use eco-packaging, which I appreciate. And the portions were large and pricing was really fair. I still have another serving of salad and two more servings of Pad Thai for lunch or dinner tomorrow!
