"This place is amazing. The first day I ordered the Pastrami, the dasher brought me the wrong sub and the store called DD and told me they did. I'm glad they did so because I was confused by the American cheese (which I despise) and thought the size was a bit small, but I've gotten used to NJ being outrageous by this point. Anyway-- NOPE! They brought me someone else's 8 inch (which was still plenty-- I ate half and was full) and I ended up liking it more than the one I ordered! Haha. The one I had last night (yup, ordered my real sandwich again last night because they're that good...oh and I am not a sub person at all btw) was with deli mustard and it was a bit dry during some bites so more mustard would've been nice, but it was still very good. Their bread is so fresh and delicious. Honestly, their meat, cheese, veggies, all of it is so good. They even added pickles for me since DD doesn't let us select that option which is annoying. My husband said he could eat one of their subs every day. I can almost guarantee that we end up ordering from there again this weekend. I just wish I could get like turkey and pastrami or roast beef and pastrami together. I hate ham so I can't get that combo and I don't like the salami, pepperoni, etc sandwiches so any type of meat combos with those are a no-go for me as well unfortunately. My daughter saved her 8. Oven Gold Turkey for today, but she did take one bite and said it was really good, but "why aren't there pickles?" I forgot to write them in her request spot. I really wish DD would fix that and make them optional to add. Try this place. You won't be disappointed. The sandwiches are massive. If you get a small one, you got the wrong order or you're a professional eater. lol."

"With a place named Breaking Batter, you would expect their cake batter to be a real stand out. Unfortunately, that isn't the case here. The cake was exceptionally dry. Now, I'd be willing to assume that this was a one-time overcooked issue for all 4 of the items we ordered, but even if that is the case, the cake flavors are absolutely nothing to write home about. They taste and look like someone made some cheap boxed cake mix. The strawberry cake is bright pink, but the flavor doesn't match the vibrancy. The favor is very artificial. The same is true of the vanilla cake. Given the cake is at the bottom under everything else, it means your final impression of the dessert is ruined by the carelessly made cake. Not everything is bad, though. The toppings we tried were all really good and not very sweet. We didn't have any of the cereal toppings. The strawberry syrup was probably the stand out topping. It tastes like real strawberries and isn't cloyingly sweet. The jars are real glass, so you can cut off the plastic Breaking Batter label and reuse them. I'm happy they didn't use plastic jar bodies. Overall, for the cost, this isn't worth your time. I sincerely wish I could say otherwise."
